Parmesan Pull-Aparts: 3 Tablespoons Margarine or Butter 1 Tablespoon instant Minced Onion 2 teaspoons Dill Seed 1 teaspoon Poppy Seed 1/4 teaspoon Celery Seed 1 (10 oz.) can Refrigerated Flaky Biscuits 1/4 cup grated Parmesan Cheese.

Melt margarine in 8 or 9-inch round cake pan in oven; tilt pan to coat bottom. Sprinkle onion, dill seed, poppy seed and celery seed evenly over melted margarine. Separate dough into 10 biscuits; cut each into 4 pieces. Place bicuit pieces and cheese in plastic bag; shake to coat. Arrange coated biscuit pieces evenly in prepared pan; sprinkle with any remaining cheese.

Bake at 400* for 15 to 18 minutes or until golden brown; invert onto serving plate. Serve warm. To make ahead, prepare, cover and refrigerate up to 2 hours.

ECCA: The Emida Community Center Association’s members have accomplished - the installation of the fire extinguishers, fire proofed the chimmeny and the bottom door closures were installed. A donation of two fire boards were made to the Emida Community Center for the wood stove area.

Cancellations: The Hunter’s Education class for Aug. and Emida Days have been canceled.

Gun Raffles: Tickets are still available for the UpRiver Saddle Club’s “Gun Raffle”. The gun is a Ruger American 17HMR/Synthetic/Matte Stock. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Tickets can be puchased at the St. Joe Sport Stop or North Idaho Vinyl in St. Maries. The drawing will be done during O-Mok-See on Aug. 2. The Emida Community Center Association are raffling a Savage Riffle 7mm 08 caliber, low recoil, bolt action, 4 round clip, 3x9 Weaver Scope, matte stock/6 1/2 pounds. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. The drawing will be on Oct. 1.

Bingo: Alvin Albert called at UpRiver Bingo. Winners were Cathy Anderson, Candy Crocker, Mike Love, David Groth, Tina Smith, Anna Rowsey, Frankie Smith, Freda Albert, Sue Taylor and Kristie Hunter. UpRiver Bingo is played on Thursday evenings at the Fernwood Senior Center from 5:45 to 8 p.m.

Weight Club: Kristi Preyer was Queen of the Week. The UpRiver Weight Club meets on Friday mornings at the Fernwood Senior Center from 8 to 9 a.m.

Force: Children ages 4 to 10 can come join the “Innovation Force” at the Tri-Community Library on July 29 (today) at 10 a.m. The hour will be full with making a cape & mask, slime, supercharged comic book, cardboard structure building. Food Bank: The UpRiver Food Bank, located at the Fernwood CAF Building will have a food distribution on July 31 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Please bring your own box. CSFH boxes for seniors (already signed up) will also be distributed during this time.

New Business: Roxboro Secondhand Consignment in Emida has been open for business for a few months. Artists- Keith Jenkerson (oil paintings), Jeff (blacksmith with coal) Barb (clay and photos), Kate (metal art), Molly Stuart and Annette Bedwell (preserving dollies in framed art) are currently displaying their works. Roxboro offers a variety of services, knife sharpening by hand on a stone, showers, referrals to local tradesman;storage units; Ebay service; USPS labels priority supplies and FedEx shipping. Store hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ms. Bedwell can be reached at 509-989-5200 for further information.

Support Group: An Anger Management Support Group is on Thursday evenings at 6 p.m. at Roxboro in Emida. Annette Bedwell and Keith Jenkensen are the hosts for the event.

URSC: The UpRiver Saddle Club will have their 59th annual O-Mok-See on Aug. 2, starting at 8:30 a.m. The entry form can be found on the UpRiver Saddle Club Facebook page. The Lumberjack Grill will be serving food through out the day. The drawing for the gun raffle will be done during the lunch break.

Meeting: The Emida Community Bible Church will have a Sunday morning Prayer Meeting at 9:30 a.m. at the Emida Community Center. Everyone is welcome.

NLT: The New Library Team will meet at the Tri-Community Library on Aug. 3 at 4 p.m.
