9:53 a.m.: A woman living outside Benewah County said her ex-husband takes something from her residence every time he came to visit their children. She wanted the items returned, and asked for deputy contact.

9:41 p.m.: A St. Maries woman said her grandson saw a large raccoon get up on her deck and eat her cat food. She asked whether a deputy could help get rid of it. Dispatch advised the caller to contact Fish and Game for a live trap.

Wednesday, June 5

5:08 a.m.: A St. Maries woman said a man was at her house screaming and yelling, in violation of a civil protection order. An arrest was made.

9:30 a.m.: A structure was reported on fire on Promise Lane near Plummer.

10:31 p.m.: A St. Maries woman advised her power was out, but she did not know the number for Avista Utilities. Dispatch advised Avista of the call.

Thursday, June 6

12:17 a.m.: A DeSmet woman said her boyfriend just kicked in her door, and she requested tribal police Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office was advised.

8:04 a.m.: A caller in St. Maries reported students at the high school parking lot were driving unsafely, and asked for a deputy to respond.

12:41 p.m.: A St. Maries man said he and his neighbor were having trouble with a prowler, saying a man had been seen on security cameras near their properties.

7:46 p.m.: A driver on State 3 reported a vehicle heading toward St. Maries which had crossed the double yellow and nearly caused a collision. A citation was issued.

Saturday, June 8

10:10 a.m.: A St. Maries man reported his dog was stolen, and he believed his neighbor took it. He advised the neighbor gave the dog to Undersheriff Eells, who took it to Hope’s Haven, and he claimed he could not afford to get it back.

10:12 a.m.: A Hope’s Haven employee reported a deputy came in with a large black dog. The deputy advised the person who turned the dog over knew the owner but refused to give contact information for him.

11:36 a.m.: A St. Maries woman said a man was walking by her house shouting threats and obscenitites at her.

2:10 p.m.: A St. Maries man said someone stole clothing from his washing machine. He said other saw the man steal the clothes and drive away.

9:27 p.m.: A caller living near Plummer said there was a man in the area freaking out and hitting his son and daughter. He said the children were not hurt enough for medical. An arrest was made.

9:29 p.m.: A St. Maries man reported a driver shooting out the window of a truck near Milltown.

Sunday, June 9

10:41 a.m.: A resident at Rocky Point said someone had stolen a paddle board and accessories from his boathouse. He asked for deputy contact.

4:11 p.m.: A Plummer resident said a man was threatening people at a children’s party and wouldn’t leave.

Monday, June 10

5:57 p.m.: A woman in St. Maries said she found a pipe with burnt residue in it in a parking lot, and said she would bag it up and bring it to the sheriff’s office.

9:35 p.m.: A Fernwood resident said he was missing a racing lawnmower, set of body tools and a paint gun from his residence. He said he’d received messages about the lawnmower being seen in another person’s truck.
