The Benewah County Master Gardeners and the University of Idaho Extension will conduct classes this spring.

The first session is scheduled for March 2 to April 20, 2021, Tuesday, and Thursday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, in-person attendance will be limited, and classes will also be conducted via Zoom. A sign-up sheet for in-person attendance is available in the basement of the Presbyterian Church, 1100 College Avenue, St. Maries.

The cost is $95 for individuals and $115 for couples that will share a handbook. The handbook is required for participation and its cost is included in the initial fee.

Class topics include botany, native plants, organic gardening, lawn care and more.

Courses are taught by University of Idaho Extension professionals and knowledgeable community members.

Registration, including payment, is due by Feb. 25, 2021.
