The body of woman who went missing the night of Halloween was found last Friday in Medimont, near the campground where she was last seen.

“The woman was found deceased with her vehicle but it doesn’t appear to be a collision,” said Lynn Hightower, spokesperson for the Idaho State Police. “The vehicle looks like it slowly rolled off the roadway. At this time, it appears it may have involved a medical situation.”

Ann F. Gragg was 67 years old. She was last seen about 5:30 the night of Oct. 31 at Quiet Nook Campground before going out to run an errand at a nearby gas station. When she didn’t return, family notified law enforcement later that evening.

She was found Friday off Highway 3, near the campground, when a dump truck driver noticed something unusual and alerted authorities.

The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office and Idaho State Police worked together on the investigation and recovery. Foul play is not suspected.
