More than 100 students will graduate from St. Maries, Lakeside and Kootenai high schools in the next two weeks.
St. Maries will begin the ceremonies with its graduation Saturday, June 1 starting at 1 p.m. in the high school gym. The graduating class of 2019 will include 76 students, including valedictorians Hailey Crawford, daughter of Tod and Staci Crawford, and Kaci Haeg, daughter of Rick and Janie Haeg, as well as salutatorian Aubree Osier, daughter of Kenny Osier and Jennifer Osier.
The ceremony will also feature the announcement of 2019’s inductee into the St. Mairies Wall of Fame. Each year, former alumni select a St. Maries graduate from the past who has taken extraordinary action to support their community.
Also on June 1, Lakeside Junior-Senior High School will graduate its class of 2019, which will include 21 graduates. Co-valedictorians Suzzana and Tommia Pakootas will be honored for their achievements, as well as salutatorian Logan Fude. Suzanna and Tommia are the daughters of Nicky and Gene James and Tom Pakootas, and Logan is the daughter of Joe and Chrystal Fude.
One week later, Kootenai’s class of 2019 will have its chance to take the stage at its graduation June 8. The event will begin at 1 p.m. at the high school gym, and the class will graduate ten seniors. Brittney Larson, daughter of Mark and Kellie Wills, and Gage Mitchell, son of Mike and Nancy Maitland, will be honored as valedictorian and salutatorian, respectively
