The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is seeking feedback on its review of the Coeur d'Alene Basin Cleanup.

The EPA has been evaluating the cleanup efforts of the Bunker Hill Superfund site since 1983 and is required to review Superfund cleanup sites every five years.

Over the past 30 years the EPA has reported to have made significant progress on cleaning up the site to make the area cleaner and safer for people to work and play.

The EPA said in a report that the site still presents risks that was generated by historical mining which left behind heavy metals in the area.

The EPA wants to hear about any information or ideas from the public that may help assist with the review of the site.

Input must be submitted by February 12.

Those who are interested in submitting input or comment may reach out to Tamara Langton at 206-553-2709 or by emailing langton.tamara@epa.gov.
