The Idaho Community Foundation has announced that the application deadline for the for the ICF grant is February 15, 2021.

The Idaho Community Foundation collects funds from donors in all 44 counties of Idaho to be disbursed as grants for community needs.

Grant applications must be submitted online by the deadline to be eligible for consideration.

Those interested are asked to review instructions at the Idaho Community Foundation website. Registration requests take one business day to process.

This year the ICF grant will offer grants ranging from $1,000 to $25,000.

Peg Carver, the Benewah County ICF Representative, said that there was seven grants received in the county last year.

The Benewah Community Hospital, St. Maries Volunteer Community Clinic, Hospice of Benewah County, the Benewah County Humane Society, and the city of St. Maries were among the groups to receive funding from the program last year.

“A lot of grants came our way last year,” Mrs. Carver said. “We had seven different grants last year, one of them was for the city pool.”

To date the ICF has contributed over $100,000 to local organizations.

Awards will be announced in May.
