In the case of the state of Idaho vs. Carson Sines, Magistrate Judge Scott Wayman suspended the remaining balance of Mr. Sines’ sentence on Nov. 20.

Mr. Sines had a hearing with Judge Wayman after serving five months on a rider for his involvement in a DUI crash that killed a local woman in the summer of 2018.

Judge Wayman instead gave Mr. Sines three years of supervised probation due to good behavior and showing leadership skills during his time on the rider.

“I commend him on the job that he did with the programs provided to him,” Judge Wayman said.

Mr. Sines was released on the day of his hearing.
