A local business owner died suddenly, Oct. 6, 2020.
Owner of Jack’s Pharmacy, 36-year old Colt Darley, died in his sleep. His body was discovered the morning of Oct. 7, 2020, after he did not report to work.
The exact cause of death is unknown. The coroner’s office is awaiting autopsy and toxicology reports that are expected to take approximately six weeks.
Mr. Darley and his wife Sally moved to the area with their four children and purchased Jack’s Pharmacy from Chad and Lisa Brown in 2019.
Prior to purchasing Jack’s Pharmacy, Mr. Darley and his family lived in Evanston, Wyoming.
He received his Doctorate of Pharmacy from Idaho State University in 2015.
A fundraiser organized by Ms. Darley’s sister, Molly Evans, is accepting donations through gofundme.com.
“Colt was beloved by so many and his calm and easy-going nature made him a friend to all. He tirelessly worked hard for his family and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be so deeply missed,” Ms. Evans wrote on the site.
As of Oct. 12, the fundraiser reached $19,109 from 196 donors expressing support Ms. Darley and her family.
