The Gazette Record will honor area graduating seniors with a four-page spread in its May 27 issue.

The Advertising Director, Alex Barta, said that the local newspaper wanted to honor those who won't be recieiving a traditional graduation ceremony.

“We planned this before we knew whether or not the schools were going to have graduation at all this year,” Mr. Barta said. “Since they are not getting full on traditional ceremony we wanted to give these kids something.”

Mr. Barta said that he wants to make sure to get everyone included and that home schooled graduating seniors will be included as well.

“We don't want to miss anyone that's the biggest thing,” Mr. Barta said. “If you are home schooled we want to get a hold of you.”

He said that the Gazette Record will also offer ad space for families or friends who want to honor a specific graduate. Ads will be ran in full color.

For more information contact the Gazette Record at 208-245-4538 or if you are home schooled and want to be included in the senior layout contact Mr. Barta at
