William and Jared Dittman led all Junior Salesmen in the first week of the Gazette Record subscription campaign – and pocketed $158 in cash commissions for their efforts.

Kelby and Rylen Harvey earned $128 for their work during the first week of sales as did Chase Beckner.

“For whatever reason we have fewer youngsters working this year than in previous years,” Publisher Dan Hammes said. “But we do have some very hard workers out there trying to earn extra cash.”

In addition to cash commissions, Junior Salesmen can earn bonuses, which are calculated at the conclusion of the sales drive.

“The bonus money can really add up for the youngsters.”

Last year Chase Beckner, who sold with his brother, earned $1,018 in commissions and bonuses.

Salesmen and their earnings after one week are: William and Jared Dittman, $158; Kelby & Rylen Harvey, $128; Chase Beckner, $128; Jamie Mueller, $60; Turstin, Millie, Travis Reid, $48; Erin Hanson , $32; JoJane Barta, $24; Jainyn Bergland, $24; Grant Mills, $8.
