Couples around the area have a wide range of festivities to choose from this Valentine's Day Weekend.

Whether its surf and turf at one of the local lodges or a dance at a nearby BnB, there is sure to be something for just about every pair of sweethearts in the area.

9S BBQ Sweethearts Dinner

The local BBQ sauce and catering company, 9S, will host its first Valentine's Day Dinner at the Grub Box. The group will be serving smoked beef brisket, chicken breast, coleslaw and a handful of sides and sweets.

Owners Josh and Jamie Tankersley say they are excited to see some familiar faces and that they have a few more special Friday night dinners planned over the next few months.

The dinner will be on Friday Feb. 14 from 5 to 9 p.m and tickets for couples are $38. Single tickets will cost $20 each and kids ages six and up cost $10. Kids ages five and under get in for free.

Elks Lodge Surf and Turf Valentine's dinner

The Elks Lodge will be hosting a Valentine's Day dinner on Friday Feb 14 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The lodge will be serving a surf and turf dinner that will consist of steak and shrimp.

Dinner will be served at 6 p.m and will be $15 a plate. Residents are encouraged to bring their spouse or a date.

Country Barn BnB Sweethearts' Dance

The Country Barn B-n-B will host its second annual Sweethearts' Dance on Saturday Feb. 15.

Area residents are invited to an all you can eat prime rib and dessert dinner. There will be an open bar and live music with David Reed starting at 5 p.m. Owner Fred Sheffelmaier said that the dance is one of the BnB's most popular events and that this year will feature foods from Flowergirls Bakery and local winery, Sheppard Wines, will be providing drinks for the evening.

The dance is limited to 150 people and reservations are required. Mr. Shefferlmaier said that those who reserve a whole table ahead of time will get a discount on their ticket price. The cost per person is $50.

Calder Store Valentine's Dinner

The Calder Store and Restaurant will also be hosting a surf and turf style dinner for sweethearts in the area.

The restaurant will serve prime rib and tiger shrimp dinner for two for the price of $42.95. The Calder store will be serving the special on both Friday Feb 14 and Saturday Feb 15 during dinner hours.
