After a year off, the UpRiver community will have its annual celebration this month.

Fernwood Days is scheduled for Friday, July 30 and Saturday, July 31 and will feature fun events for the whole family.

The event will kick off Friday night with a 4H sponsored car wash from 1 to 4 p.m., and a community social and dance later that evening featuring JamShack from 6 to 10 p.m. The event will feature a beer garden and food vendors.

Saturday the events will kick off at 6 a.m. with a Firemen’s breakfast followed by a parade, horseshoe tournament, an ice cream social, bingo and more. Vendors will be open until the afternoon.

More information will be available closer to the event.
