The Plummer American Legion Post 69 plans to participate in the annual American Legion oratorical scholarship program, that begins in January.

The contest is based on students learning about the Constitution and being able to expound on that knowledge. High school students enrolled in public, private or home-school programs are eligible.

Contestants must deliver their prepared oration in no fewer than eight minutes and no more than 10 minutes. Scholarships are offered as prizes.

Interested students living south of Coeur d’Alene and north of Moscow should contact Pat Hutchinson by phone by Nov. 1, 2020 at 208-686-9156.
