A restaurant in St. Maries reported an attempted break-in, May 18.

According to Benewah County Sheriff Dave Resser, management at the Zip’s Drive-In, St. Maries, reported damage to a door and the drive-thru window.

The damage is believed to have happened the previous night, May 17.

The cost to repair the damage is unknown at this time.

The manager of the location said they would review security footage and advise the sheriff’s office when complete. The manager was provided statement forms to complete.
