Local residents can join the city of Harrison for a day of celebration during their annual Fourth of July event.

The Harrison Chamber of Commerce will hold their annual celebration July 4 in Harrison. The event will include fireworks over Lake Coeur d’Alene, as well as a variety of activities in town for residents of all ages.

Visitors can take in local sights and attractions and visit local businesses as they prepare for the main event in the evening.

There will be yard games in the park beginning at noon. Vendors will also be in the park from 2-6 p.m., selling a variety of wares.

Live music will be performed by Heather King and the Dukes of Rhythm starting at 3 p.m. and continuing through 7 p.m.

Fireworks will begin following the live music show at dusk over Lake Coeur d’Alene. Those interested in attending the event are advised to arrive early to find parking.
