Gene was born Oct. 25, 1955 in the state of Washington. The family moved south to Oxnard, CA where he went to grade school and met many life-long friends at Larson Elementary, Blackstock Jr High and Hueneme High School class of 1974.

Gene played Little League baseball at Statham Field, bike riding with friends and had a passion for playing basketball every Wednesday night at the “Drop In.” While in high school he worked at Pizza Palace as a pizza maker.

Afterwards he attended Ventura College majoring in Administration of Justice and worked as a driver for Mission Linen Supply. Gene had many jobs through the years from the oilfields (CPS), as a meat cutter and most recent as a project manager for DMS Construction until he retired in 2013.

Gene grew up as a Dodger fan but when he left SoCal he became a Seattle Seahawks fan and his favorite for sure was Gonzaga Bulldogs Basketball.

Gene and Judy wanted to build their dream home in St Maries, ID among the beautiful trees, the wildlife and breathtaking views from sunrise to sunset and from warm sunny summers to the cold winter snow. It was Gene’s health that brought them to Oldtown, ID. Where they would build their dream forever home.

May he rest in peace. A Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.
