Shirley Ann Peet

Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend Passed away July 14th 2021 at the Hospice house of Spokane with family by her side.

Shirley was born May 4th 1952 to Frank and Vienna Heikkila Heinz. In her younger years she lived in the Avery Idaho area where she met George Hewitt. They married on June 18th 1977. George passed away in May of 1996 and Shirley later met Gene Peet of St. Maries. They were married April 23rd 1999. Gene passed away in March of 2013.

Shirley was an avid seamstress and had made many baby blankets and clothes for grandbabies and herself. She was very organized and all her pictures were all put away in albums and there was a hand written note on each one as to who was in the picture and what year it was taken. She never forgot a birthday or anniversary. Her Step children were always treated like her own kids and she had a great love for each one of them.

Survivors include her Significant other Tim Turner, Daughter Angie (Jason) Agerter and unborn granddaughter. Step Children Rex Hewitt, Stacy Hewitt, Richard (Mary) Hewitt, Randy (Dian) Hewitt, and Carmita (Ralph) Barnes. Sister Mary Ellsworth, Brother Dan (Sherry) Pollock, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Frank and Vi, her 2 husbands George and Gene, 2 brothers Frank Pollock and Bob Pollock, Brother in law Butch Ellsworth, and Grandson David Barnes

There will be a celebration of life at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family ask that you donate to the Hospice house of Spokane in Shirley’s name.
