The Gentle Giant is back.

This is the stuff that should drive people crazy but instead nobody takes notice. At the very least, one would think reporters would show some interest – but not so much.

File this one under “truth over facts” but Elizabeth Warren recently took her pull at the yoke to re-write history. As part of her campaign to be our next President, Ms. Warren bravely took on the racists Democrats now find everywhere.

Never mind the lie, the politics are too good to ignore.

In a recent tweet Ms. Warren reminded all her supporters, and anyone else she could convince, that a racist white cop gunned down Michael Brown. It took six shots by the hateful white cop, but Brown was killed for being black.

At least that is the storyline Ms. Warren wants to peddle in search of votes.

The sad part is we’re only exaggerating a little bit. What the former college professor (who was paid $430,000 to teach a couple classes and now bemoans income inequality) wrote was:

5 years ago Michael Brown was murdered by a white police officer in Ferguson, Missouri. Michael was unarmed yet he was shot 6 times. I stand with activists and organizers who continue the fight for justice for Michael. We must confront systemic racism and police violence head on.

It’s the sort of stuff the Left loves. Unfortunately, President Obama’s Justice Department proved it is a lie. Michael Brown, who some reporters labeled the Gentle Giant, was killed as he tried to take a gun from a cop. This happened shortly after he assaulted a store owner.

Ms. Warren knows all this. So does Kamala Harris, another favorite in the race for the Democratic nomination. She too refers to the shooting as murder.

A cop is attacked. The cop kills his attacker in self-defense. Two national leaders rant about murder – and millions of Americans cheer them on.

This won’t end well.

Alright, we get it. None of us is new to this. Politicians say dumb stuff to win votes. But it seems different this election. We could be mistaken but we don’t remember the words “murder,” “racists” and “Nazi” being tossed about with such frequency in the past.

Last week six cops got shot when they tried to serve a warrant on a guy selling drugs. There was a time when parents would have cheered for cops taking a drug dealer off the streets. Today? Not so much.

There were reports that onlookers cheered the drug guy and jeered the cops while the multi-hour, dangerous scene unfolded.

Is it just coincidence then that leading liberals, many who want to be President, regularly charge that cops are racist, bigoted murderers?

Over the last few weeks there have been several attacks – including gunshots – directed at ICE agents. To date, no agents have been hurt. But give it time, the attacks continue.

So is it also just coincidence that these same liberal leaders constantly harp about concentration camps and the Nazis working at ICE?

It is one thing for Antifa thugs to bellow and shout about cops and federal law enforcement. That’s what goons do. But when leading Democrats – the very best the party has to offer – make it a cornerstone of a stump speech, things have gone too far.

After Michael Brown – a very large man – was killed because he attacked a police officer, the race hustlers descended on Ferguson, Missouri. The outcome was predictable; rioting, violence, thuggery and vandalism.

It’s what Al Sharpton is good at.

There was a time when we could expect more of Presidential candidates. Elizabeth Warren and Kamala Harris aptly demonstrate that is no longer true.

Instead they are little different than Al Sharpton.
