A three-game week ended with a win for Lakeside’s girls basketball team, which scored a season-high 49 points in the consolation round of the Silver Valley Tournament to defeat Post Falls JV Nov. 20.

Jolissa Holt scored 15 points as the Knights improved to 2-1 going into Thanksgiving Break with a 49-29 win.

"We had a good overall effort, and will look to continue to improve," Coach Chris Dohrman said.

Arianna Havier-Gorr added 13 points, and Ashlee Holt put up eight points for Lakeside, which lost to Kellogg 31-61 one day prior in the tournament-opener.

"We had a pretty good showing at the Silver Valley Tournament," Coach Dohrman said. "We lost to a very good Kellogg team, but got to see where we're at, and what we need to work on."

Jolissa scored eight points against the Wildcats as the Knights were outscored 12-32 in the first half.

Lakeside opened its season at Kootenai Nov. 16, running past the Warriors 39-10 behind 14 points from Jolissa and 11 from Arianna.
