The Lakeside volleyball team dropped to 3-3 in North Star League standings Oct. 3 in a five-set loss to Mullan.

The Knights previously defeated the Tigers in four sets Sept. 17 in the first meeting between the two clubs.

“We beat ourselves by giving away too many points and letting outside things influence our play,” Coach Brad Veile said. “Mullan played with more enthusiasm and determination not to be beaten.”

Kria Peters led Lakeside with 24 assists and three kills, followed by Tenley Lambert with 14 kills, Glory Olson with 12 kills, one block and one ace and Destiny Seago with two kills and three assists.

The Knights fell in straight sets Oct. 1 to Clark Fork.

Tenley had 10 digs and three aces in the 23-25, 16-25, 14-25 defeat. Kria dished out 22 assists and Glory added two blocks.

Lakeside (5-11, 3-3 NSL) travels to Wallace Thursday for a 5:30 p.m. match and hosts Kootenai Oct. 15 at 6 p.m.
