St. Maries’ JV girls basketball team watched a three-point halftime deficit jump to 14 going into the fourth Feb. 4 at Lakeside.
A 23-point third quarter from the Knights sunk the Lumberjacks in a 39-55 defeat.
Lily Daniel led St. Maries with 11 points in the effort, followed by Sami Sindt with 10 and McKayla Spray with seven.
Ava Stancil, Tayla Janssen, Lexi Chappell, Abbie Wilks and Kassidi Scott scored two points apiece and Kara Sexton added one point.
St. Maries finishes with a 3-9 record.
