Nine Lumberjack club wrestlers went undefeated at Kellogg Nov. 2.
Asher Scheffelmaier led the pre-bantams with a perfect, 3-0 mark while improving to 9-0 on the season.
A host of bantam wrestlers finished their tournaments with top spots, including Alexandra Bornitz (3-0), Everett Lewis (3-0), Aiden Arnold (2-0) and Rylen Harvey (3-0). Gradyn Harvey was 1-1 for a second place finish, Tanner Skogland was third with three wins and one loss and Darby Schierman also took third with a 3-1 mark.
Vincent Herzog and Ryker Grosvenor were both 1-2, and Gage Ooyman, Aiden Banks and Tucker Arnold each were 0-2 on the day.
Samuel Jones (2-1), Emmit Rivadeneira (1-1) and Donald Johnson (2-1) led St. Maries’ group of intermediate wrestlers as each finished in second place.
JoJane Barta split matches at 2-2, and Gabriel Bornitz was 1-2 as both wrestlers took home fourth place. Parker Thomas earned one win against two losses, Dominic Hammos also went 1-2, Carson Solom was 0-2 and Takodah Crane 0-2.
Four Lumberjacks in the novice division took home perfect records, including Kelby Harvey (3-0), Aiden Yearout (2-0), Gabe Halloran (3-0) and Zachary David (3-0). Harley Turner took fourth with a 1-2 mark.
Brock Anderson won three matches and lost one as he claimed third place in the middle school division. Landon Tweedy split matches at 1-1 for second place, Michael Stewart went 3-1 for third and Kody Tefft finished 0-2.
The team travels to Lakeland Saturday.
