Kootenai’s wrestling team took six athletes to the Chad E. Ross tournament at St. Maries Dec. 30.

Charlie Orford led the Warriors with a 3-1 record as he overcame an early loss to win the consolation side of the 152-pound bracket.

“All our wrestlers are improving,” Coach Jerry Brown said, “as we see some of the same competition, yet with better results. We continue to make advancements that we hope will bode well for districts.”

Keira Bohannon, Carter McGann and Brady McGann each won matches on the day.

Up Next: Kootenai competed in a mixer at St. Maries Jan. 4, and travels to Kellogg Jan. 13 for a 6 p.m. start.
