The Kootenai football team put up a season-high 20 points Oct. 30 against Lewis County.

The Warriors, who have battled low numbers and postponements, played their third and final game last Friday.

“I am extremely proud of the athletes sticking out the season with such short numbers and working as hard as they did,” Coach Doug Napierala said. “It was great to field a team this year and play some games.”

Brady McGann scored two of the Warriors’ three touchdowns, the first on a 65-yard run and the second a 24-yard dash into the endzone as his team fell 20-68.

Charlie Orford found Carter McGann for a 61-yard touchdown pass for the other Kootenai score.

The team closes its season with a 0-3 record.
