Lakeside sophomore J.J. Hall, with his fifth place 400-meter time at the Meet of Champions May 2, sits closer than half a second away from a school record going into this weekend’s District Championships.

J.J. was Lakeside’s second-highest finisher at the prestigious meet as he finished his signature race in 54.59.

“He bumped up a couple spots from where he came in, so that was good to see,” Coach Brad Veile said.

Glory Olson brought her consistency to high jump, taking third behind a height of 4-08.00. Kamryn Hendrickx took tenth in shot put with a mark of 30-05.00.

The Knights travel to Kamiah Friday and Saturday for the District Championships.
