St. Maries’ JV girls played once last week before the cancellation of Monday’s game at Lapwai.

The girls outscored Kendrick 10-9 in the second quarter Jan. 8, but fell 29-46 after the Tigers extended their lead quickly in the third frame.

Jada Barden led the Lumberjacks with seven points on 3-4 shooting and 1-2 from the free throw line. Kammi Rimel put up six points and Averie Baird added five for St. Maries JV girls.

Up Next: St. Maries JV (3-6) plays at Post Falls Wednesday at 5:30 p.m., and tips off Saturday at Grangeville at noon.
