League play begins Friday for the Lakeside girls basketball team.
The girls host Genesis Prep for their first of four SIC matchups, fresh off a 63-25 win over Clark Fork last week.
Genesis Prep is winless five games into its season, the most recent loss a 10-47 result with Mullan last Thursday.
The Knights got 14 points each from Jolissa Holt and Ashlee Holt last week against Clark Fork as they ran out to a 25-7 lead after one quarter.
“We played really well as a team and I was very happy with our effort,” Coach Chris Dohrman said. “It was a good game for us coming back from Christmas and New Year break.”
The girls travel to Bonners Ferry Thursday for a rematch of their mid-November loss to the Badgers (45-68).
Upcoming: Lakeside (4-5) tips off at Bonners Ferry (7-2) Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and begins Friday at 4:30 p.m. against Genesis Prep (0-5).
