St. Maries’ JV boys team remained undefeated last week with three wins.

The Lumberjacks got past Lapwai 42-40 in their closest win of the season.

Tristun Hill scored a team-high 20 points and pulled down eight rebounds, and Connor Wolfe added 12 points and four steals as the Jacks defeated the Wildcats for their seventh win of the season.

“Tristun was an animal in that game,” Coach A.J. Becktel said. “We played really tough.”

Wyatt Holmes scored six points and Dillon Holder dished out three assists.

The team routed Kellogg Jan. 9 behind 12 points from Tyler Renner and 11 from Trace Wicks. Trace also tallied four assists.

“We came out and ran the floor, and that set the tempo from the get go,” Coach Becktel said.

Tristun pulled down six rebounds and Wyatt added five as their team ran out to a 22-9 first quarter lead in the 58-25 victory.

Dillon added four assists.

Jared Badgett put up 15 points and pocketed four steals Jan. 6 against Post Falls freshmen as the Lumberjacks earned a 51-37 win.

Tyler scored 11 points to go with eight rebounds and Trace had three assists.

Upcoming: St. Maries’ JV boys play at Priest River at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, and travel to Orofino Saturday for a 3 p.m. tipoff.
