The defending state-champion Coeur d’Alene Charter girls soccer team put 31 shots on St. Maries’ net Sept. 30.

Between their two goalkeepers, the Lumberjacks managed to keep all but six of those attempts from the back of their net.

Macie Rimel stopped 11 shots and Jenna Holder five as their team fell to 1-2 in IML play with a 0-6 loss.

St. Maries was outshot 0-31 in the defeat.

Upcoming: St. Maries (1-3, 1-2 IML before an Oct. 6 game at Priest River) wraps up its regular season against Grangeville Saturday. Kickoff is set for noon at the St. Maries soccer field.
