St. Maries’ JV volleyball team added to its perfect record Sept. 29, defeating Wallace in three sets.

Lily Daniel dished out 16 assists as her team improved to 4-0, and Lexi Fuller added seven aces and five kills.

Ava Stancil recorded five digs in the 25-17, 25-15, 15-10 victory.

“Our serving really played a roll in the match,” Coach Aubree Gibson said. “We had multiple stretches of points off good serving. The girls are putting more and more together each game and that is great to see.”

The Jacks were scheduled to play at Post Falls Oct. 6, and travel to Bonners Ferry Saturday for a 5:30 p.m. start. A Central Idaho League match with Orofino, originally scheduled for Oct. 8 at St. Maries, was canceled and a makeup date had not been announced at press time.
