Lakeside’s boys basketball team took its perfect record into a long-awaited matchup with Genesis Prep Jan. 21.

With a win Tuesday, the Knights would be the first North Star team to defeat Genesis Prep since it joined the NSL in 2015.

Following its home game Jan. 21, Lakeside is set to host Immaculate Conception Friday.

The boys jumped out to a 49-4 first quarter lead Jan. 16 against Mullan, as Talon Twoteeth put up 20 points in an 89-31 win.

Kenyon Spotted Horse added 16 points as Lakeside improved to 9-0, 5-0 NSL.
