A fourth and final CIL contest hits Saturday for the St. Maries girls basketball team.

The girls host Grangeville Saturday in a rematch of a 36-point loss suffered two weeks ago.

Saturday’s matchup with the Bulldogs is St. Maries’ second-to-last game. The team hosts Genesis Prep Feb. 4, and districts begin Feb. 8.

Taci Watkins (2), Kirsten Miller (2) and Mackenzie Hammond (4) got the Lumberjacks on the board Jan. 25 against Orofino, helping their team to a 8-6 lead after the first frame.

Jenna Holder finished with 14 points in the 51-38 win.

“The girls have worked really hard to improve and do what they needed in order to win the second league game with Orofino,” Coach Kimberly O’ Connor said.
