St. Maries’ girls soccer team fell in the first round of its district tournament Oct. 11.

The Lumberjacks’ lone goal in a 1-4 loss to Bonners Ferry came on an Allie Dundas penalty kick. The goal was Allie’s second of the season.

Jacklin Linnemeyer made eight saves for St. Maries.

“Bonnie Rottini had an amazing game on defense,” Coach Amber Morris said. “Hope Aasgard and Lynee’ Law played a great game as our forwards, and Beth Anderson pushed herself as a midfielder and made sure she was in the right position during the entire game. These five girls worked so hard for me all through their soccer high school career, and I’m so happy to have gotten the opportunity to coach them.”

The Lumberjacks close their season with a 0-7-1 record.
