It had been a good while since Kootenai’s girls basketball team won on Harrison Flats.

Nearly three years.

So while the Warriors did not get ahead of themselves last week after taking an 18-2 lead over Priest River JV into halftime, they did have reason for optimism that their streak was nearly finished.

Tuesday Glessner scored a game-high 10 points as her team cruised to a 37-3 victory over the Spartans Nov. 19, improving to 1-1 going into a Nov. 23 game with Wallace.

Abby Tiller added nine points and six rebounds, and Tayva Maitland pulled down 10 rebounds to go with seven points and six steals.

The girls hosted Lakeside Nov. 16, falling 10-39.

Abby score a team-high five points in the losing effort.

Up Next: Kootenai hosted Wallace Nov. 23, and returns from Thanksgiving Break with a Dec. 7 game against Mullan, which will serve as a NSL opener for both schools.
