Following a Jan. 21 game with Genesis Prep, the Lakeside girls will have played each league opponent at least once after this week.

Barring any unexpected lapses against the winless Jaguars, the Knights should have themselves in good shape to win the North Star League.

Lakeside held a perfect 5-0 NSL record going into Tuesday’s game with Genesis Prep, and will travel to face Clark Fork in a makeup game Wednesday (today), followed by a home contest with Priest River Saturday.

“We have another busy week,” Coach Chris Dohrman said.

The Knights got 12 points from Ashlee Holt and 11 each from Kria Peters and Tamara Anderson Jan. 16 against Mullan, as they improved to 9-3 overall with a 68-37 win.

“It was a good team win,” Coach Dohrman said. “We were able to get out to an early lead and get everyone some playing time.”
