St. Maries' basketball teams will play their first games this weekend since pausing for Christmas Break.

All four teams are set to travel to Sandpoint Saturday.

The quad begins at with the JV girls game at noon, followed by JV boys at 1:30 p.m., varsity girls at 3 p.m. and varsity boys at 4:30 p.m.

League play begins for the Lumberjack boys Jan. 16 against Grangeville.

Lumberjack wrestlers are also in action next week.

The team will compete at Potlatch Tuesday, Jan. 5 before returning for its second home event of the season Tuesday, Jan. 12.

The Lakeside boys basketball team, currently sitting at 4-1 on the season, will host Kellogg Jan. 5 (7 p.m.) and welcomes Clark Fork Jan. 7 for a 7 p.m. tipoff.

The Lakeside girls basketball team will also take on Clark Fork, tipping off at 5:30 p.m.

League play begins for the Knights Jan. 15, when both teams will host Genesis Prep in their Scenic Idaho League openers.
