The Kootenai volleyball team won its first set Oct. 8 against Genesis Prep.

Abby Tiller had 10 digs, four assists and three kills as the Warriors opened up a 1-0 lead with a 28-26 win.

The Jaguars would take the next three, handing the Warriors a 28-26, 14-25, 13-25, 20-25 loss.

Kootenai took on Wallace Oct. 7, falling in three sets, 20-25, 23-25, 12-25.

Sarah Thaut and Kayleigh Dorman led the Warriors with three kills apiece in the effort.

The girls opened their week against Clark Fork, falling 13-25, 8-25, 11-25 and getting eight digs from Sarah.

Upcoming: Kootenai (0-8, 0-4 NSL before Oct. 13 match vs. Lakeside) travels to Genesis Prep next Tuesday for a regular-season finale beginning at 6 p.m.
