Doug and Betty (Lee) Bramblett celebrated 50 years of marriage Friday, October 26 with family at their home. They were married at the county courthouse in Norman, Oklahoma (1968) shortly after 5 p.m. because they had to wait for the judge to get off of work.
At the time of their marriage, Doug had a son, Darin, and Betty had a daughter, Debbie and a son, David. Keeping with the theme of children with the letter D they named the next two daughters, Dawn and Deanna.
