The two were married at the St. Maries Nazarene Church by Pastor Jim Cox in 1980 after dating their senior year of high school in 1979.
They have two daughters, Betsy Gilliland, who lives in Coeur d’Alene with husband Mike and daughter Addison, and Sara Wise, who lives in St. Maries with daughter Isabella.
The couple will not have a party, but instead has chosen to celebrate alone with a dinner-for-two at Wolf Lodge this weekend.
