A semi truck was reported as having gone off the road at the 10 mile marker around 8 a.m., Friday October 14. A Jack Buell crane truck responded at 9 a.m. to help the driver of the semi according to the Benewah County Sheriff's Office.

The Lakeside girls basketball team won the 1AD2 district tournament with a 47-41 victory over Genesis Prep, and advanced to the state tournament.
