5:20 a.m.: A man reported he was between Potlatch and Tensed, and had hit two elk with his truck. He said both were in the ditch and one was still alive. He said his truck was still drivable even with the damage.
8:39 a.m.: A St. Maries man said his new neighbors’ dogs came and mauled his dog. He said he wants permission to kill his neighbors’ dogs and wanted clarification on if and when he could.
8:55 a.m.: A St. Maries woman requested assistance for a nine-year-old who was violent and trying to break and destroy everything.
2:44 p.m.: There was a report of a vehicle unable to maintain its lane along Highway 95.
6:47 p.m.: There was a request for an ambulance for a patient involved in four-wheeler accident. The patient had a four-wheeler land on her and she could not move her leg.
Saturday, May 6
4:38 a.m.: A St. Maries woman reported the father of her children choked her. She said it happened right in front of her child.
5:09 a.m.: There was a report of a downed powerline near 4th Street and College Avenue.
10:15 a.m.: There was a report of dogs chasing wildlife on Lovell Valley Road near Plummer.
3:39 p.m.: A St. Maries woman reported a dog kept chasing her children while they were at the skate park.
Sunday, May 7
12:27 p.m.: A St. Maries woman requested an ambulance. She said she was not feeling like herself.
Monday, May 8
1:28 p.m.: A St. Maries woman said she has a month-to-month renter she needed to evict. She said they won’t leave and wanted to know what she had to do to get the sheriff’s office help.
2:40 p.m.: A St. Maries woman reported her ex was sending her current boyfriend text messages talking bad about her.
3:18 p.m.: A Plummer man requested an ambulance. He said he got in a fight over the weekend. He said he fell over and was kicked in the head. He said he was unable to get up today. He said although he is breathing and conscious, he is unsure of what specific injuries he might have.
Tuesday, May 9
9:04 a.m.: A St. Maries woman reported she lost a diamond earring at Xmas Hills over the weekend.
9:28 a.m.: A St. Maries man reported he lost a set of ramps on Homer Drive.
7:01 p.m.: A Fernwood resident reported a van with some shady characters staying in it in the parking lot of the senior center. The caller said the individuals have been there for about four nights.
Wednesday, May 10
4:05 p.m.: There was a report of a white Dodge near DeSmet that was tailgating, speeding and passing in no passing zones.
Thursday, May 11
6:38 a.m.: There was a report of a moose running around on Coeur d’Alene Avenue. The caller said it was also hanging around the grade school, and had headed behind the body shop. The caller thought it might be prudent to let someone know before children started showing up for school.
