Area band Sverwood plans to give concertgoers at this week’s Summer Sunset Concert Series a reason to rock out.
The band will come prepared with an arsenal of rock, country and classic rock covers. The band is known for having tunes for just about everyone.
The band consists of guitar player/vocalists Rusty Wood and Chris Sverdsten who formed the band in 2016.
In the following years the pair added more personnel to the group including bassist Greg “Wheels” Breazeal and drummer Barry Barckley. The group also features Christine Noah as a guest vocalist.
The band is not a stranger to St. Maries as they have played at multiple private parties, and they were a part of last year’s Summer Sunset Concert Series line-up.
Concertgoers are encouraged to bring their own chairs, blankets and beverages. Food vendors will also be available at the show.
Sverwood hits the stage at 6 p.m., Friday, August 5, at the St. Maries Amphitheater.
