Kootenai grad joins Heritage Health
Heritage Health welcomes its new therapist Alyssa Robinson to the community. Ms. Robinson specializes in marriage counseling and helping people who struggle with substance abuse.Â
She is a Kootenai High School alumni and recently moved back to the St. Maries area with her husband, Austin, and their infant son, Grayson.Â

SMHS art show
Members of the St. Maries High School's advanced art class will feature their work at a series of art exhibitions in the near future. It will be displayed before the high school Band concert Dec. 18 at 5 p.m. in the Presbyterian Church.

Students receive free dental work
Second grade student Karlie Freeman is prepped for dental work by Pam Kenmir of Panhandle Health. Delta Dental's outreach program, Grins on the Go, performed free dental work for first and second graders at heyburn Elementary from Dec. 9 to Dec. 11.

Fundraiser nears its goal
The Fernwood Mercantile offered a chance to win a $200 shopping spree to one lucky winners. Shoppers could be entered into the raffle by either donating $5 cash or $5 worth of dry goods at check out.Â
The cutoff for entering was Dec. 10, and the Merc will be announcing the winner on social media. Pictured, left to right, Debby Powell from the UpRiver Food Bank, Fernwood Merc cashier Ellen Davenport and Fernwood Merc own Kelli Beauchman.Â
