A 16-year-old boy was declared missing from the Plummer area after not being seen for more than a week.Â
Isaac J. Turner was reported missing Sept. 10 after being last seen Aug. 28. The Benewah County Sheriff's Office believes Mr. Turner may have traveled to Coeur d'Alene, Spokane or gone east toward Montana prior to his disappearance.
Isaac is described as a Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes, 5'11" and 130 pounds.
If you have any knowledge of his whereabouts, call the Benewah County Sheriff's Office at 208-245-2555.

The Kootenai School District hired new personnel for the 2019-20 school year. A new kitchen, laundry facility, beauty salon, offices and elevator will be located off of this hall that is currently curtained off by construction plastic.

St. Maries High School senior, Kaela Davis, was recently accepted into the National Society of High School Scholars. Kaela was excited to receive the honor from the NSHSS, which provides resources for college preparations and scholarships to high school students with high GPAs.

Ellie Getchius shows a photo of the play structure that will be placed into the largest room in the building, which was once the sanctuary. The indoor playground is expected to be multiple stories high. Last week the walls of the room was being textured, and will receive paint this week.
