Booster Club member Lynn Masterson holds up one of the banners that can be seen along main street in front of businesses. The banners can be purchased through the booster club, and those who purchase them can have their business name printed on the banner. Proceeds go to high school sports programs.

The local Elks Lodge donated $1,000 to the Heyburn Elementary Special Education Department. The donation will go toward developing a resent/sensory/incentive room, designed to help provide breaks to students who need to refocus in the classroom. Josh Masterson of the St. Maries Fire Protection District is handed a $2500 check from Paul Bunyan Days Committee Chairman Dale Hill. The donation was made to the fire department to pay for the installation of an all-call button which helps the department communicate with other fire departments in the county faster.
