If last Friday’s home match was any indication of how next month’s St. Maries golf Invite will go for the Lumberjack golfers, Coach Bryan Chase has plenty to look forward to.
Seth Swallows took medalist honors for the boys and Sami Sindt was the girls medalist as St. Maries hosted Timberlake and Genesis Prep for a tri-match.
“It was a good day for us,” Coach Chase said. “Timberlake was looking for an extra date, and we were able to get Prep down here, too, so it worked out well for us.”
St. Maries’ boys finished 38 strokes ahead of second-place Timberlake.
Sami shot an 88 to take the girls medalist honors, and Keianna Olson tied for third with her score of 99.
Up Next: St. Maries is scheduled to compete at the Genesis Prep Invite Wednesday (today) at the Links Golf Course at 9 a.m., and will play at Circling Raven Golf Course Monday at 9 a.m.
