The Kootenai girls basketball team will face Mullan or Clark Fork in the first round of the North Star League girls basketball district tournament Feb. 7 at North Idaho College.
The Warriors wrapped up their regular season Jan. 31 against Clark Fork, and fell to Mullan five days prior by a score of 16-51.
“They’re improving in their defense, team communication and they’re having fun out there,” Coach Alyssa Liermann said.
Keira Bohannon led the team in scoring, hitting a pair of three-point shots to contribute to her eight-point game. Molly Phillips added five points and Tuesday Glessner tallied three points in the effort.
Up Next: Kootenai (0-13, 0-3 NSL before Jan. 31 @ Clark Fork) opens district play Tuesday, Feb. 7 at North Idaho College. Tipoff is set for 5:30 p.m. The winner will advance to the NSL title game Thursday, Feb. 9 at North Idaho College at 5:30 p.m.
