St. Maries Club Volleyball U12 black team recently finished its season. Members include (from left) HaiLeigh Short, Molly Phillips, Mia Asbury, Brenna Elliott, Danika Sloper, Jaelyn Lewis, Naomi Mueller, Sydney Jones, Madison Thomas and coach Rachele Asbury.

St. Maries' cheer squad qualified for two state events following the District 1-2 championships Feb. 23. The girls will compete in state show cheer and all-girl stunt. "They did an awesome job," Coach Shannon Cloud said. "This team worked extremely hard to make it to state." Pictured are team members (front from left) Lauren Edwards, Nicole Kilborn, (back) Ivie Mae Morris, Brittney Barden, Kassie Scheinost, Trinity Boisselle, Jennifer Sonnichsen, Alyssa Green, Morgan Martin, and Olivia Lewis. The state cheer competition is March 16 at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa.
